Boston Marathon

So hi!! I'm sorry I haven't been writing in a while!!!!! So, yesterday there was a terrible tragedy that happen during the Boston Marathon on 4/15/13. During the race, 2 bombs went off killing 3 people and more then 140 got injured!!!!!!! One of the killed was a 8 year old boy who was waiting for his dad to cross the finish line.  All of my friends on instagram were talking about it, showing pics, and trying to show support. Today, wear purple to show support for the chaos at the Boston Marathon!!!!

Dear journal,

I'm so sorry I haven't been writing to you guys for the last week! It's just that I have a lot of things to do in so little time! So now, I'll put it all together in one big entry.

           First, we went white water rafting with my whole family, including my aunt's and uncles. We went down little rocky edges. Faith and I were in the front of our raft and we both almost fell of! We didn't though. But our unlucky uncle, grandpa, and one of my grandmothers did. There okay though so it's good. We got soaking wet and cold, but it was okay. By the end of the ride we were probably just a droplet of water. Luckily they had showers. We washed ourself of, but even then I was determined to take another shower at home.Then we ate the buffet they set out for us

           Secondly, we went to this village in bali called Sidemen (sound it like sideeemen) where we visited a temple, which explains if your bad in this life, you will go to a place that is not heaven (sorry, don't want to say the bad word) and they will do incredibly bad things to you. It has pictures of gore which the devils do. It is quite dreadful, and I did not like to see it after a while. Then we went into a museum which tells the story of when the balinese fought the dutch when the dutch conquered Indonesia. Puputan, was the battle. There was also a moment when the royal family offeres there life and get hanged. Ya that was kind of a bummer.

            Third, we went to this hotel in Ubud, Bali Honeymoon home stay. Just to make it clear, it is not for just people on there honeymoon. They have little homes and you even get to have a front yard. For dinner, you eat at this awesome restaurant called Casa Luna. I think I ordered 4 dishes, just because it's so tasty. We went swimming 2 times and explored the local market. 

             Fourth, we went to the mountains of Bali. It was so beautiful and green. Clove and chocolate trees lined the streets. When we stopped to eat we got a good view of of the mountains. Dad showed us the tallest tree in the world. Faith and I pressed flowers into a book mom got us. Faith also tried to Identify a few plants from this book she is crazy about called "Obat Asli the healing herbs of Bali".

   

That is all. It's our last day. To be honest, all I want to do is cry my eyes out. I'm even surprised I lasted till 8:15 which is the time.

Dear journal,
Today, I went to Ubud, Bali with my dad, sister, mom and grandpa. We had to walk a mile to get to this restaurant. Even though it was hot, the walk was very cool. Next to us was a river and a forest. There was a lot of lizards too. When we got to the restaurant, we had drinks to cool of and some really good fried rice. But then we had to walk back.
A while lat er when we got to the house, we went shopping for gifts for people. We were going to go to Tiara but my belly hurt so we went home.

Dear journal,
Today we went to a resort in a island "Lembongan Island". It was great! We did so many things. First, we had go on a  boat ride that was really long. But it wasn't all to bad! They served us pastries, coffee and tea. When we got to the island, I went snorkeling with my uncle, my sister, and my dad. We saw many different fish, seaweed and coral.  When we went back in, we dried of on the shore. My sister and I went to a pool they had there. It was salt water! We must have stayed there for hours. Then I went to have lunch with the rest of my family. It was really good. Filled with all sorts of spices and more. Then we went on a viewer. We also saw may fish there, swimming throughout the coral. When we got back, my sister and I went swimming some more in both places. Then went back, wishing we could repeat this day over.

Dear journal, 

It's our second day. Today we went to many places with my whole family. First we went to a restaurant near the beach. It's a buffet. The food is superb. The nice spicy taste that makes bali's food unique. Next we go swimming in the beach. I swam with my sister and we played weird games that I rather not talk about, since my sister and I made them and we don't want anyone to know and copy us. Okay so then I made quite a show on the sand doing back flips and more. Then I went to Tiara Dewata, which is a place where you can do fun activities. We went on the bumper cars, in the ball pit and on the trampoline. On the trampoline we did flips and not trying to brag, but most people were staring at us in amaze. We were so tired and sweaty.
