SUMMARY- A young boy named Jess, has a beautiful art style. He is not that popular though. He has never fit in with any of the kids in his school. Only May Bell, his younger sister. Many people bully him. Like the meanest kid in the school, Janice Avery. All until a young girl name Leslie Burke moves into his neighborhood. A girl!!!!!! He can't make friends with a lame old girl!!! Though Leslie is much more than a girl. Especially when she beats every boy in the school when she races. Wow!!!!! Her and Jess make a country. Its name is terabithia. They have so much fun there. They fight make believe monsters that fit in their wild imagination. For Christmas, Jess gets Leslie a dog. She gives him a artist kit. They trick that darn bully Janice Avery. But they help herself after she get hurt. Though one day Jess gets to go with the music teacher. He likes her a bit AND SO GOES. At this time, a terrible thing happens. Leslie drowns. You know their was only one way to get to terabithia. There is a rope that you swing across. It breaks. Then the Burke family moves with the dog. What will Jess do? Well he makes friends with Janice Avery. He builds a bridge to terabithia. Than leads his younger sister May Bell to it and together they make terabithia again. This book won the Newberry award and was made in a movie. I hope read it and I hope you enjoy it!!!!!
